Joanna Jaros, MD

Board Certified Dermatologist

Dr. Joanna “Asia” Jaros, MD is a Polish and Spanish-speaking, board-certified dermatologist from Niles, IL. Dr. Jaros received her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and graduated with honors from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago on an academic scholarship. She was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honors Society for her work with underserved patients and awarded the George H. Miller HSSR Grant for her research.

Dr. Jaros completed dermatology residency at the Cook County Hospital and Health System (CCHHS) where she proudly served as Chief Resident in her final year. During this time, she authored numerous posters, scientific articles, and book chapters on the topic of eczema, urticaria, and complementary therapies for dermatologic conditions. 

Dr. Jaros loves taking care of patients of all ages and is especially interested in medical dermatology, integrative medicine, dermatologic surgery and resident education.
