Dr. Goldbach (@HayleyGoldbachMD) is a double board–certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon specializing in Mohs micrographic surgery, dermatologic oncology, and complex surgical reconstruction. She is ACGME fellowship–trained and has performed thousands of Mohs surgeries.
Dr. Goldbach graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Brown University and earned her medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania, where she was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha. She completed her dermatology residency at UCLA and her fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology at the University of California, Irvine.
She has published research in leading medical journals, including the New England Journal of Medicine and JAMA Dermatology, and her research has been featured in The New York Times. Dr. Goldbach is also an experienced medical journalist whose writing has appeared on NBCNews.com and in World Health Organization public health materials and she provides expert commentary for publications like Forbes, The Washington Post, The New York Times Wirecutter, Vogue, Real Simple, New York Magazine, Real Simple, The Guardian, and countless others. Dr. Goldbach has a strong commitment to global health and has worked in Malawi, Botswana, Haiti, India, and Laos. She was awarded a Global Health and Media Fellowship from Stanford University and NBC News.
