Kathryn Rentfro, MD

Board Certified Dermatologist

Dr. Kathryn Rentfro is a Dermatology-Rheumatology fellow at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School, where she works in adult and pediatric connective tissue disease clinics. She completed dermatology residency at the University of Minnesota, where she served as Chief Resident, following internship training in internal medicine at the University of Connecticut. Dr. Rentfro earned her M.D. from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
 

Her clinical and research interests focus on inflammatory and autoimmune skin disease. She is actively involved as a co-investigator in multiple Phase 3 clinical trials in dermatomyositis, cutaneous lupus erythematosus, and atopic dermatitis. She is passionate about medical student and resident education as well as advocacy within dermatology.
